Abstract
SUMMARY The main objectives of this study were to treate, examine and analysp the different situation in net farm incomes per feddan which may be taken place among farms as a result of various agricultural estate taxes.
The study in this direction is uscful to show the qse of these situations as a base in clasifying the cultiyatcd areas in Assiut Govçrnorate,
The essential data used in this research work have been based on cross section data for 465 farms owned by their producers (farmers), as random sample represented them in the regions of the study. Another sources of data were the various issues of the Agricultural Economic Bulleten published by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Statistical Year-Book published by the Center Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics, and the available statistical information published by the Department of Agriculture in Assiut Governorate,
So far, as the method of research work is concerned, this study wa intended to be mostly analytical and conducted to a great etenL by the practical situations prevailing in Assiut Governorate. Both descriptive and quantitative approaches were used. Furthermore, analysis of collected daLa was mainly based on the techniques of Index numbers and analysis of variance.
The study was mainly consisted of an introduction nd three chapters. The introduction treated the research problem and objectives? methodology, analysis techniques and sources of data.
