المستخلص

The Egyptian policy of foreign trade has achieved a relative success in increasing the variety of Egyptian exports in general and Egyptian agricultural exports in particular.
However, it faces some international economic variables which may set back the trials of increasing the national exports of some commodities in the future.
Therefore, it is important to redistribute the Egyptian exports in general and the Egyptian agricultural exports in particular in various international markets, and that is also to realize to which extent we can maximize the returns of these exports.
Hence, this study was carried out to shed light on the foreign trade in Egyptian main crops, and to reach to the optimum economic distribution for Egyptian agricultural foreigii trade. Moreover, it was carried out to shed light on the seasonal pattern of Egyptian agricultural forei trade.
This study depended on many published and unpublished data some of them was national and the other was international, and many papers and references related to the subject. The study also depended on the quantitative and qualitative statistical econometric analysis system data of time series of variables under investigation to obtain the main economic and statistical parameters which affect and were affected by the movement .of exports and imports through the time of study.
Moreover, the linear programming technique was applied to this study as it is oil of the methods of planning the foreign trade.
The study includes three chapters: the first one reviews the literature of the important scientific works related to this study.
