English Abstract
This study carried out on 120 one day old chicken to study the effect of
mushroom as feed additives on healthy chickens. Our work revealed growth
promoter effect by increase in weight gain and FCR After feeding mushroom
extract 0.5 g / Kg ration and dried powdered mushroom at ( 11.75 g , 17.5 g ,
23.5 g ) / kg ration ( after one week age for 3 weeks ) . Clinicopathological
investigation showed increase in RBCs ,Hb g / dl and PCV % in mushroom
treatment groups , biochemical investigation revealed increase in total
proteins , albumin and globulins and decrease of AlG ratio , cholesterol.
Immunological investigation showed increase in total leukocytic count ,
lymphocytes, total protein and globulins .While AST, V.A., creatinine and
glucose level showed non significant changes.
