Abstract
Therefore the aim of the present study includes:
1-Finding out the source of the trail pheromones.
2-Effect of different concentrations on trail following activity.
3-Optimum dose lasting time.
In a trail to find out whether the Dufour gland or the hind gut content has a synergetic effect for the venom secretion , a mixture of both the Dufour and the poison gland or a mixture of both the hind gut and the poison gland was tests against workers. Results showed that neither the Dufour gland nor the hind gut had no effect in M.Lepineyi but either of them had a significant inhibitory effect in M.bicolor
