Before dealing with improtance of my research entited hnternational rivairy over the congo basin.I wish to shed some light on the factore ieading to the back wardness of the african was delayed due to many ressons foremost among which is its isolation from the outside world by thick forests high temperature heavy rains .the abundance of wild beasts.and the spread of deadiy diseases is in addition to its coastines especially. the western coast not being suitable for the anchorage of ships this is due to the natural struc ture of the coastline chara cterized by its zigzaging nature.
