multimedia telecommunications services between human users, using the public Internet Receiving feedback about network transport quality is essential for supporting adaptive applications. We examined the issues surrounding scalability of transport feedback in large scale multicast groups. We presented analysis, design, and simulation of a new scheme called More Scalable Real-time Control Protocol (MS-RTCP), which solves congestion, storage state, and feedback delay problems in highly dynamic groups We considered a multimedia packets loss problems as regards the link, transport and application layers. We introduced a new technique to support the multimedia packets loss problems in relation to the User Datagrame Protocol/Internet Protocol (UDP/IP ) Also, we presented a new application layer protocol called Multimedia Data Loss Recovery Protocol (MDLRP) to detect and recovery the multimedia lost packets We considered the multimedia Quality of Services (QoS) protocols. We demonstrated a new server called QoS server in which the network services are aggregated and handled. The QoS server solves the QoS changing problem that may happen during the multimedia packets transmission. Also, it provides a multimedia with all the required QoS faster than using the Recourse Reservation Protocol (RSVP). We introduced an implemented case study to clarify how the multimedia QoS are managed and seized Finally, we considered a multimedia transmission software. We introduced a standard concept, design, and implementation for multimedia transmission software. Also we presented a special application to transmit a Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) audio using Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP). We advised a comparison between our special application and RTP general library as regards a complexity. Hence we answered on the question why the programmers prefer to build their multimedia applications from scratch.
