The study results:
The study came to the following results:
1. The possibility of increasing the efficacy of teachers ethical commitments towards the members of the school society.
2. Increasing the efficacy of teacher ethical commitments is pendant on overcoming or reducing the barriers, problems, pressures and frustrations that encounter teachers in nd outside schools.
3. Increasing the efficacy of teacher ethical commitments necessitates considering the following:
• Dissemination of adequate awareness to help members of the broader society further appreciate the teacher’s role in the wider society.
• Elevating and acknowledging the position teachers and their responsibilities.
• Putting an end to the negative image of teachers portrayed in the different means of mass media.
• Taking the appropriate measures to safeguard teachers and their families.
4. The ratings of the students, the colleagues, and the seniors, regarding how far teachers are ethically committed in their daily interactions with them, were not adequately high, i.e. not as hoped to be.
5. The ratings of teachers regarding the barriers that impede their ethical commitments were quite clear in reality.
6. There is some kind of agreement among students, teachers, and seniors in opinion that the ethical commitments of teachers towards them were not adequately met in the light of the “Z” test results in spite of the differences in the kind of secondary education (general & vocational), and in the kind of setting (urban & rural).
7. Teachers were in agreement that the barriers of ethical commitments are actually recognized in reality for each barrier and each instrument as a whole in the light of the “Z” test in spite of the difference in the kind of secondary education (general & vocational), setting (urban & rural), gender (males & females), experience (less than 5 years & more than 5 years), school subjects ( Science, Maths, languages, Philosophy, Theoretical , Practical, and Cultural).
