The Present Study aims at recognizing The Effectiveness Of Using schema – based strategy in The Mathematical Word Problem Solving of students with difficulty in Mathematical Word Problem Solving . participators is consisted of 28 fourth graders with Mean 112.98 months and who were Learning Disabled in Mathematics . participators was selected from Osman bn Afan Primary School in El mandara , Manfalout , Assiut Governorate .

The tools of The Study included ; Reading Recognition test, Reading comprehension test , Mathematics test , Raven’s successive Matrixes test for Intelligence , An achievement test in mathematical Numerical problems , An achievement test in mathematical Word-Problems , shared knowledge’s test in Mathematical Word Problems Solving,A questionnaire for the faculty members about Mathematical Word- Problems category in mathematics for the fourth grade primary students , A questionnaire for the faculty members about shared knowledge’s test dimensions in mathematical Word-Problems Solving and The Suggested Training Programme on mathematical Word Problem Schema and solving it . The study concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation between students’ scores in mathematical Word - Problem Solving test and their scores in shared knowledge’s test in solving those problems .The study concluded that there was a statistically significant improvement in mathematical Word - Problems Solving performance after implementing the training programme in favor of the experimental group as opposed the control.
