Abstract
This thesis includes four chapters. the first chapter presents the mechanism of electrolytic polishing, observations on the polishing process in copper/ortho-phosphoric acid system and an idea about mass transfer in electropolishing which includes the variables affecting the limiting current, current distribution problems and mass transfer in presence of convection.
