Abstract
One hundred and fifty (150) Labeo Nilotica fish were collected -#102;-#114;-#111;-#109; different parts of River Nile In Upper Egypt. br Fish were examined clinically, one hundred of them revealed the presence of clinical alterations. These fish were subjected to post-mortem paracytologic and bacteriologic examination. br The clinical signs appeared in the form of haemorrhagic patch.c distributed allover the body and fins specially in the caudal portion, infl ammati on of the anus with slight abdomi nal distension, roughness of the scales and detachment of them -#102;-#114;-#111;-#109; some parts of he fish body. br P aracytol ogi c exami nation was performed to all the fish sar;iples but there were no parasites were detected. br Bacteriologic examination of the diseased fish revealed the presence of 43 isolates whi cli were in morphologic, cul tural and biocher1ical characters closely related to Aeromonas species. br According to the biochemical reaction 43 isolates of Aeromonans species were subdivided into three subspecies: 15 isolates of Aeromonas hy-#68;-#82;-#79;-#80;hila, 8 isolates of Aeromonas cavae and 2 isolates of Aeromonas sorbria in addition to 18 isolates of atypical Aeroinonas strains.
