Abstract
SUMMARY
The present study includes application of metabolic profile test on both fattening cattle and buffalo steers, atating nortual means and. 99 percent confidence haute and assess the adequacy of dietary intake for nisut production in some Egyptian fattonin farina.
1) The normal biocheniical blood constituents in clinically healthy Egyptian fattening steers were 11.8, 7.86, 3.82 kg percent, 25.9 percent, 62.2, 0.27, 138.5, 317; 10.6, 9,9 mg percent, 141, 5.1, 25.9 and 1P3.6 mg - Eq/L, while the levelu in fattening cattle steers were 11.35, 8.18, 3.72 g percent, 27.22 percent, 52.19, 0.23,
143.7, 20.47, 10.55, 8.51 ‘ug percent1 145, 5.06, 27.06, agd 104 m £q/L for haeaxoglobin content, total protein, albumin levels, haemctoorit value, glucose, total bihiru— Si.n, total cholesterol, urea nitrogen, calcium, inorganic phosphorous, sodium, potaasiutn, bicarbonate and chloride levels respectively.
