Abstract

The thesis is concerned with the application of the folding approach to deformed nuclei. The a-particle model is used To construct the density of nuclei considered.
The analytically evaluated potentials depend on the orbital angular momentum. For up to 4 the form factors for elastic and inelastic interactions are given, discussing also the effect of different forces on the form factor. It was found that there is a good agreement: with previous calculations.
Chapter (I) is an introduction.
Chapter (II) includes the nuclear densities distribution for the considered nuclei and the calculation of the shape deformation parameters, and the excitation probabilities for different states of the nuclei ender consideration.
Chapter (III) discusses the nucleon-nucleus optical potential and the calculations of the potential deformation parameters were present.
In Chapter (IV) the alpha-nucleus optical potential and the potential deformation parameters were discussed.
