Abstract
The immunoblotting of the isolated rHGH from E. coli cells using anti- hGH antibodies, have reveealed the antigenecity of the rHGH isolated, also confirmed by comparing with the therapeutic rhGH drug.The results of this work is the cloning and expression rhGH in E. coli cells on lab scale, which is the first step for production of this hormone locally. the work aim to clone and express the gene coding for human growth hormone. colning the hGH gene from cDNA clone and transfrom this gene into expression vector for protein synthesis, using the prokaryotic system of E. COLI. THE AMOUNT OF EXPRESSED RHgh, will be measured and its immunological activity will be assayed with western blotting technique.
