Abstract

SUMMARY ANO CONCLUSION This investigation was carried out ona total number of 500 caraels belonged to different localities in Assiut Qovernorate. The influence of some physiological status such as age, sex and reproductive status were carried out on 229 camels.
Animals were classified into groups according to their healthy condition and physiological status including age, sex and reproductive status.
All animals (67) which used as control group after coniplete proved their healthy status by both clinical and laboratory methods of examination.
Clinical examination of the healthy camels revealed the presence of good appetites, their head were erect, ears pricked, eyes wide open, rosy red mucous membrane, capillaries filled with blood, the skin hue from thickening, the flank full, the body temperature vaired from 37 to 37.5°C, the respiratory rate from 6—11 / mTnutes, the pulse rate were from 45—54 / minutes, the faecal matters were small hard halls and passed without effort and the urine is clear and voided back wards in jets.
While camels infested with parasitic enteritis showed anorøxia, depraved appetite, soft to watery diarrhoea with unp3esant odour, the faeces was greenish in colour, contained some mucous and soi led the tail and hind quarters On the other
