Abstract The aim of the present work is to investigate the extent to which protic solvents as formamide, MCS and BCS and aprotic solvents as pyridine, DMSO, DMF, ACN and Dioxane affect the rate of copper electrodeposition process from acidified solutions of copper sulphate mixed with different contents of these organic solvents under natural and forced convection. The effect of different reaction conditions, such as anode type, v/v % of organic solvents, speed of rotating cylinder electrode (RCE), rotating disc electrode (RDE) and changes in temperature are investigated. |
