Abstract A Great Discrepancy Between Theortical and Experi Mental results on Accoustical Resonators is Frequently Recorded in Literatures in View of the Auther, This Discrepancy May be Due to : 1- A Lock of An Accurate Experimental Technique for Measuring The Resonance frequency of The Resonator. 2- The Theories Given for Accoustic Resonators are Unsatisfactory Due to the Fact That, Assumed Piston Like Velocity Distribution at the Opening Devistes too Much from the True One anf That Workers On the Workers on the Subject Assumed the Propagation of Plane Wave Only Neglecting the Fact That Higher order Waves are Present. |
