Abstract The hard magnetic ferrites-barium(BaFe212O19) and (SrF12O10) Ferrites are the most intersting materials of the permanent magnets. Although both compunds are relatively close in their magnetic properities bt the first has a High chemical stability and low price than the latter. Barium ferrite is widely used as permananet magnets becse of its high satration magnetization, large inrinsic coercivity and low price. the magnetic properities of the barium ferrite powders are strongly affected by the preparation techniqe. The Present Work is devoted to study the effect of preparation conditions of barium ferrite, mole ratio, sintering temperature and particle aize, on the magnetic properities, to prodce large scale of commercial barium ferrite powders showing the optimal magntic properities. in addition powders of optimized properities have been employed with EPDM rbber to produce a commercially useful and scientifically interesting materia of flexible bonded-magnets. |
