Abstract
study may hopefully be of value and focus attention on the pathway of cholesterol biosynthesis as affected by statins and its relationship to other bone markers. We stressed largely on mode of administration of atorvastatin specifically its topical application in suitable cream base to achieve high accumulation in bone tissue and avoiding extreme degradation in the liver.
This may present another therapeutic approach to enhance bone formation, producing inturn the ideal anabolic agent for osteoporosis.
