Abstract
This thesis comprises three chapters; the first of which deals with the aim of investigation and a genrtal review on the chelating ion exchange resins containing sulphur. The coordination behavior of thiocarbohydrazide is also included in this chapter The second chapter is devoted to describe the preparation of polyamides 6-9 through the polycondensation of dicarboxylic acid chloride with thiocarbohydrazide and its S - CH³ derivatives the preparation of metal complexes of these polyamides were also given the physical measurements used in the present work namely viscosity infrared spectra thermal analysis and AC electrical conductance measurements of the complexes under investigation have been reported.
