Abstract
The present study deals with geophisical evaluation of nubia sand stone formation in rudeis-sidir area, using nine wells(ARM-2,ARM-3, ARS-1, ARS-3, ARS-4, ARS-5, ARS-6 R-5 and S-8), scattered in the area of rudeis-sidir, gulf of suez, eygept. This study was done uitiling deferent types of open-hole well ; logs; such as gamma rays, neutron, density, sonic and resistivity, for the determination of the included petophsica parameters.lThis work throw light on the methods, which using to determine the shale content depending on the available logs, were, the shale volume is important for correcting the porosity and water saturation.
