Abstract A total number of 50 osaimi ewes, their ages varied from 2-6 years old - belonged to El-Hawatka farm (25 head) and El-Baliza village private farm (25 head). The aim of the study to show the changes in biochemical metabolites which related to pregnancy as glucose, BHB, AST, ALT, blood urea, creatinine, uric acid, calcium, phosphrous and magnesium. The study aimed to the most important parameters that help persian occurance disturbance in metabolism. First: Animal and clinical examination: Animals proved to be healthy by both clinical examination ands laboratory methods of examination through faecal sample to be sure that ewes free from any internal parasite and blood sample to be sure that ewes free from blood parasite before the begining of this study. Second: samples and parameters were measured: 1- Blood samples without antivoagulant to obtain serum for estimation of Glucose, Beta-hydroxybutyrate. 2- Urine sample: for clinical examination include, pH, bilirubin, uroblinogen, glucose and ketones through strip test of urine analysis. |
