Abstract
Inferior epigastric vessel tissue anchorage was adopted in the laparoscopic repair of 15 groin herniae using the transabdominal preperitoneal route for mesh hernioplasty.The
technique is feasible, relatively reduced costs of consumables, it was not associated with nerve entrapment, with a single recurrence in the early cases. The technique is modifiable
according to the type of groin hernia.
