Summary
Bee Honey Economies in Shirkia Governorate
This research dealt with studying the honey bees
economies in Skarkia Governorate because of the economic
importance of the honey bees in Sharkia Governorate for it
includes about 7.6% of the gross number of modem and ordinary
beehives and the crop construction in the Govetnotate that
involves about 14% of the gross area of the cultivable land
cultivated with clover, citrus and cotton together on the country
level.
The research is divided into (6) main units. The first unit
includes the introduction, the problem of the study, the purpose
of the study, the methodology and the sources of data.
The siyst unit includes two chapters. The first chapter
tackles the theoritical framework which includes defining honey
bees, The second umitter of unit gives a background and a
review of the previous studies that concerned the economies of
the production and marketing of honey bees in a chronicle
arrangement from the oldest to the newest the second unit!
The third section deals with studying the present topic of
producing bees honey in A.R.E This section has two chapters the
ferst chapter is producing honei in A.R.E it concetns with the
map of bees honey production in Egypt, the development of the
modern cells, the production, the average of a cell s production
of honey during the period of the study flow 1986 - 2000,
estimating the genetal time trend of the number of the modem
honey cells, the production, the average of a cell s production
during the same period of study, estimating the general time
trend of the number of the traditional honey cells, the production
and the average of production, studying the areas cultivated with
citrons, clovet and cotton and estimating the general time trend
of these areas . The second chapter deals with marketing bees
honey in A.R.E. The fourth section deals with the present
situation of producing bees honey in Sharkia Govetnotate. This
sectionis divided in to three chapters. The first chaptet deals with
the general economic textures of sharkia Govetnotate the second
chaptet the production stracture of bees honey in sharkia
Governorate through studying the development of the number of
traditionhl and modetu cells and production on the Governorate
level and the sample centers and estimating the general time
trend of it, studying the development the cultivated areas and
estimating the general time trend on the Governorate level
during the same period of studg . the third chapter deals with
choosing the sample of study . the fifth section ( the economic
and productive efficiency of bees honey production) . it is
divided into three chapters . the first chaptet, the effective factors
of bees honey production . the secoud chaptet, the costs of bess
honey production of the study sample . the third chapter deals
with the indicators of the economic efficiency of the hives
samples in sharkia Governorate
