Abstract
Surgical anatomical studies on heads of adult animals including horse, mule and donkey after their maceration and of the skull were carried out. TheBe studies length of the entire teeth, their extraalveolar part, roots, the length of the lingual the length of the
of its extraalveolar ~art and the extension of the the lingual and buccal surface and the exposed part teeth. ~oreover the studies were extended to comprise the circumference, wight and volullie of the teeth in addition to some morpt.ological features of the teeth to tile ir jaw. from clinical point of view, the site of nerve block of
the teeth including infr•aorbital, mental and lliandibuloa¬lveolar nerve were recorded and the suitable side of their injection was det~rmined.
On the other hand the sUI’gical studies were carried 1000 equine anlillals ~horses, mules and donkeys).
A total number of ~~ anillials 27 horses, 20 mules and donkeys of the examined cases were seen affected.
The incidence of the congenital abnormalities was %, the developmental abnorllialities was 20 ~ while the dental affections was 16.1 %.
