Abstract Structural Characteristics of Agricultural Extension Organization in A.R.E. Agricultural Extension is considered one of rural development organizations which is to be responsible of rural development society which its eim is not only helping to increase productivity or to make progress technology in techniques and agriculture methods; but also further aims is extended to include meke rural social promotion by making economic promotion. These are done by benefiting from ell of the rural sources, natural and human capacities to culture and aware fermers,developmental capacities, improvement skills, modification scores and styles of ideas. Through widening of agriculturel extension services Bnd increasing its fields, it became from necessary requirements for effectiveness capacity agricultural extension, regulation efforts. All workers in it allover the different levels. It could be noticed, principal characters in agricultural extension, there are formal administration organization and severel sub-divisions for carrying out its role end responsibles for the required work 1s large and quick clone. The exiension organisation consists of several features affecting its role and efficiency and these characters are dependable on comparing seai-tissues of relationships. If there is any difference or TariaDce in these features. It shows inf’luence in the ou-put of the organization. For the importance of standard features for the agriculture extension its role for achievement extension work goals. -2- So, this study aimed to recognize on some standard features of agriculture extension and its degree of,relationship these characters with extension work gOals through an attempt in realizing the following aims: 1. To find differences between participants extension supervisors and local extension agents concern standard characters for extension organization: size (A); The area under which extension supervisors from either of them extension supervisors, Size (B): No. of local leaders, centralization, non-centralization, formulization and circle of supervisors. 2. To find differences between governorates under study concern ideas participants in standard characters for extension organization size (A) the area under supervisor by local extension agents. 3. To find differences between governorates under stUdy concern id”eas of participants -in standard characters: Size (A): area under supervision, Size (B): Bo. of local leaders, formulization degree. 4. Find differences between extension organization levels (national, gOTernorates • dis~rict , village), concern ideas of participants in standard charecters for •. centralization , non-centralization degrees , fozmu11zetiOD degree, circle of supervisor. ~ - ---~~~~~~- -]- 5. To find relationship between achievement of extension work goals of compound characters for extension organization, size (A) the area under supervisor, ~ size (B): No. of local leaders, centralization, non-centralization, formslization degree, circle of supervision • The primary test carried out for application for 20 participants (guiders) from El-Beheira and Gharbia Governorates. Also, for 20 supervisors from EI-Beheira and Gharbia Governorates by interviews agricultural extensions with supervisors. F-test has been used in analytical data obtained. Also K2 tests have been used to analysis the data. It could be summarized the obtained results as follows: 1. Results of first aim: Differences between supervisors and social agents: a) Size (A): the area under supervision. there was a significant difference between supervisors and Agricultural Engineers. b) Size (B): No. of local assistant Directors, there are significant differences between supervisors and agricultural extension. -4- c) Concern centrel Bnd non-centrel degrees, there ere significant differences between supervisors and agricultural engineers. d) Concern, circle of supervision, there is a significant difference between supervisors and agriculturel extension engineers. Results of second aim:, Differences between (El-Beheire, Gharbia, Minia & Sohag governorates of participants ideas in compound characters for extension organization: a) Size (A), the area: there ere a significant difference between the four governorates. b) Size (B) : No. of local leaders, there are significant differences between the four gOTernorates. c) Concern, central and non-central degrees, there are significant differences between the four governorates. d) Concern formal degree, there ere significant differences between the four governorates. e) Concern circle of supervision, there are significant ,differences between the four governorates. -5- Differences between extension organization levels (national, governorate, district, village) of studied variables: i ”. a) There ,are significant differences in central and non-central degrees. b) There are significant differences in formal degree. c) There are significant differences in circle of supervision. Relationship between extension work achievement anrl studied variables: a) Size (A): concern cultivated area, there is a significant relationship. b) Size (B), No. of lOcal supervisors, there is a significant relationship. c) Concern central and non-central degrees, there is a significant relationship between them. d) Concern formal degrees, there is a significant relatlonahlp between them. e) Concern circle of supervision. there is 8 significant relationship between them. |
