Abstract

In t~is study it was i~v~stigated that the avian reovirus is a widely spr~aded disease among commercial ~roilers accompanyin”~

Pathogenicity to II-nay-old chicken embrvos revealed that all n isolates were lethal and lead to stunting and haemorrhaqes on infected PF~rVos and to the appearance of rock likp Ipsion~ on tp~ CAM. Isolates were resistant to ethpr and chlorofor~. IFol~tes were neutralized ~v the rE’!ference sernl’! of the strain ~-113~. ’rhe pathoqenicitv o~ two selecten i~olates. desiqnated
