Abstract
Conservative non-surgical treatment approaches with and without systemicor locally administered tetracycline or metronidazole were evaluated clinically and microbiologically in the treatment of advanced adult periodontitis seventy five subjects with a total of 150 sites with advanced adult periodontitis were studied all cases were free from systemic diseases and had no antibiotic treatment 6 months before the study.
