Abstract
Caries is the most common of all dental diseases affecting human beings dental caries is a disease of the calcified tissues of teeth characterized by demineralization of the inorganic portion and destruction of the organic substancee of the tooth although it involves all population groups it is considered a disease of modern civilization.
