Abstract
The present study was designed to evaluate the possibility of using poultry litters and antibiotic (Virginiamycin) and their effects as nutritional factors on the production performances, of growing Friesian calves. Livestock industry in Egypt has suffered from a great shortage in feed stuffs that attribute to the increasing numbers of livestock and the limitation of feed sources. Besides, grain and legume seeds, which may contribute a big share in animal nutrition, are rather expensive and used mainly for human consumption.
