Abstract
the focus of this study is on a performance evaluation of a novel treatment technique newly adopted in Egypt ( at luxor airport ) when founding over soil deposits in arid and semi arid regions due to its formations nature when these deposits wetted usually undergo through dramatic volumetric changes that have severe impact on structures foundations as well as superstructures.
