Abstract
This work was undertaken with the aim of studying the histological and genetic changes of the testes of the adult albino rats following administration of glucocorticoid and if these changes were reversible or not In the present study, we have concluded that, exogenously administrated dexamethasone suppresses spermatogenesis which is time dependent with partial recovery after stoppage of treatment As dexamethasone is one of the widely used drug all over the world, we recommend further studies on its effects on the testis and other parts of the male genital system after different durations and doses of its administration
