Abstract Annually , more than 10 million children in low and middle-income countries die before their fifth birthday. this study was conducted to evaluate the perception of caregivers and health workers about danger signs of the neonates that lead to health care seeking. the study included 192 caregivers and 43 health workers. the study suggests that a simple health education programs can modify the caregivers,s practices which is of great importance towards acgievibg a reduction of neonatal mortality and the need to improve case-management skills of health workers through oromotion of IMCI program in Rural health units. |
