Abstract
Silver addition is used to improve the grain size and mechanical properties of high temperature superconductors, which facilated the manufacture of superconductors tampes and wires. Also, the advantages of using silver is that the critical current density and the pinning of vortices. On the other hand, vanadium is a very interesting element owing to its ability to adopt various oxidation states. The valance fluctuation of vanadium may influence the hole carrier density in the copper layers through the hole reservoir effect. Also, the vanadium is a very important element in high temperature superconductors because it is used to stabilize many phases.
