Abstract The purpose of the present work is to study the protective effect of CoQ10, which is a vitamin-like substance, and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) against oxidative stress induced by CCl4, and expected synergistic role of the combination of both CoQ10 and N-acetylcysteine (NAC) as hepatoprotective agents by measuring different biochemical parameters. *Serum Samples for measuring: 1-Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity. 2- Aspartaye aminotrnsferase (AST) activity. *Plasma samples for measuring : 1-Albumin level. 2- Total billirubin level. 3- Direct billirubin level. 4- Sialic acid level. 5- Nitrite level. * Liver homogenate for measuring : 1- glutathione content. 2-L-ascorbic acid content. 3- Lipid peroxide content. 4- Total protein content. |
