Abstract
The aim of the present study is to determine the effect of certain factors on the process of epiphyseal union at some relevant epiphyseal planes of the upper limb. The present study showed that the most important factors which affect the epiphyseal union are the race (gentic factor) , nutrition, socio economic factors and hormones (mainly testosterone in the present study).
