Abstract
Focus on the critical cases in pediatric medicine which results from endocrinal dysfunction and how to reach the appropriate diagnosis and sufficient treatment.
This research reviews the most of the endocrinal emergencies that may be faced in neonatal and pediatric intensive care unites (NICU & PICU):In order to get a clear vision for the endocrinal emergencies, we need to review briefly the anatomy, histology and physiology of the related endocrinal glands with special focus on the pathophysiology, etiology, clinical picture,initial diagnostic approach and treatment of the emergencies arising from malfunctioning of these glands.
