Abstract
This research aimed to investigate the influence of different salts and concentrations on the growth and seed production of cucumber. The research, also, aimed to study the interaction between root zone temperature (RZT) and sodium chloride (NaCl) and its effect on the growth and seed production of cucumber. Thus, the study included three main factors. Firstly, effect of sodium and calcium chloride in the nutrient solution. Secondly, effect of some calcium anions. The third factor was the influence of the interaction between RZT and NaCl. The study included the different stages of plant growth, i.e. seed germination, early seedling growth, vegetative and reproductive growth and seed yield.
