Abstract
The Aim Of This Prospective Clinical Trial Is To evaluate the efficacy and toxicity oF biweekty doctaxel With Concomitant Conventionally Farctionated Thoracic Radiotherapy In Locally Advanced (stageIII)Nonsmall-Cell Lung Cancer.
This study included 40 patients with stage LLL NSCLC referred to ClinicalOncology Department’ zagazig university’ during the period from October 2004 to August 2006. patients were randomized in 2 groups: the first group croup A received concomitant chemoradiotherapy and the second group Croup B received radiotherapy alone.
pretreatment evaluation included’ complete medical history’ physical examination’ complete blood count’blood chemistry’ chest x-ray’ CT scan of the chest and upper abdomen’ pelvi-abdominal ultrasound’ and bone scan and brain CTscan if indicated.
