Abstract Aim of the work Evaluating of transposition rhomboid flap operation in treatment of pilonidal sinus as regard hospital stay, wound healing and incidence of recurrence, either in denovo or recurrent cases. Conclusion In conclusion, the transportation rhomboid flap is highly suitable operation for primary non infected, recurrent and extensive cases of pilonidal sinus but in cases of acute abscess we prefer primary incision then frequent dressing and after complete cure the definitive operation is to be done. Also this operation has rare or no incidence of recurrence. |
