Summary
The splenic preservative techniques vary from non-operative management to operative one. The operative management includes:
1- Use of horizontal mattress sutures.
2- Partial splenectomy with autologous capsule graft.
3- Use of fibrin glue (FG).
4- Use of autologous skin and fascia grafts.
5- Use of arogon beam coagulator (ABC).
6- Use of ultrasonic aspirator.
7- Use of a stapling instrument.
8- Transcatheter arterial embolization of the splenic artery.
9- Splenic artery ligation.
10- Use of absorbable mesh.
11- Use of splenic autotransplantation.
12-Use of laparoscopy.
