Abstract
Expanding utilization of food additives is encountered these days due to fast life rhythm. Color additives are important category of food additives used to improve color of foods rendering them more acceptable and attractive and make their color matches that of the natural or the original one meaning that they take an active part in the human preference or perception of a given kind of food manufacture. Erythrosine, acolor additive widely used in the manufactured food, drinks and even drugs , constitutes a major health problem. Erythrosine harmful effects touch nearly every organ in the body.
