Abstract In this work we are trying to evaluate the diagnostic the diagnostic accuracy of ultra sound in diagnosis of various urological disorders. Conclusion: Increased cortical echogenicity does not mean permanent damage to the kidney. The condition may be reversible. Sonography has no role in evaluation of acute renal infection except in finding the cause for recurrent cases. Sonar and plain x ray are complementary in diagnosis of urinary tract stones. We are happy by using a trans-abdominal linear scan in diagnosis of our cases as seen in Assuit university hospital for the last ten years. Also, we would like to emphasize that the type of the transducer to be used is a matter of physician custom. We met no difficulties in diagnosis which needs sector or trans-rectal transducers so far after screening many patients in the last ten years practice. |
