Abstract Our aim from this study is to evaluate the causes of scrotal swellings, the way of their diagnosis and management whether medical or surgical. Also, to clarify the best way for treatment of each case according to the findings and the provisional diagnosis. This study shows that vaginal hydrocele occurred more common in the age from 20 to 40 years and in the right side more than the left side. The most common cause of urinary tract infections are E.coli, no sexual transmitted diseases were presented. The varicocele occurred more common in the left side more than the right side. The two cases of testicular tumours of this study were seminoma occurred in the age (20- 40) and in the right side and are presented by painless scrotal swelling. So, any painless swelling in the testis should be investigated carefully and completely to exclude testicular tumours. |
