Abstract
This work was carried out in the Department of Animal Production, Faculty of Agriculture, El-Minia University. The experiment was performed during the period from March to May 1996.
The objective of this study was to find out the gonadotropin administration such as (HCG:human chorionic gonadotropin) or force molting on reproductive performance of Hubbard parent cockerels.
Total number of twenty four Hubbard parent cockerels of 68 weeks of age were randomly assigned into three groups. Group 1, five cockerels were served as control; nine cockerels were injected by HCG(group 2) and the other ten cockerels were force molted (group 3) .The force molting applied by fasting for 10 days with darkness but water was available ad libitum.
The injection applied by injecting each cockerel by 50lu/lml in saline solution of HCG for 7 days.
