Abstract This work involved to study the application of different levels of potassium and phosphorus with different soil moisture regimes (S.M.S.R.) on the dry matter production and chemical composition of soybean plant parts. The study also extended to calculate water use efficiency and water consumptive use at different soil moisture regimes. To realize this target two field experiments were conducted at mallawy agricultural research station farm in two seasons 1983 and 1984. Soybean plants (Glyoins max.l.merr.). was chosen as an indicator plant wide spread in this region. The experimental design used in this experiment was a factorial experiment, (in randomized complete block design), with four replication. potassium fertilizer used in different rates were (i-e. 0,24 and 48 kg k2 0/fed.), while phosphorus application rates were (i-e. 0,23 and 46 kg p2 o5/fed.),.application of these fertilizers was carried out under different soil moisture regimes (S.M.R.), (I-E. 25%,50%and 75%),. |
