Abstract This study was carried out in the soil science department of the faculty of agriculture, Mania university to study the effect of soil conditioner k-9 on some of the most important physical properties and the plant growth condition of two different calcareous soils from Egypt. Two main areas were selected to have bulk samples out of them. The first sample represents the newly reclaimed sandy calcareous soils in middle Egypt (west Sam lout, mania governorate). The second one represents the salt affected calcareous soils in the western delta (EL-Maria, north three province). Surface samples(0-30cm) were collected from 20 different sites and then mixed together to represent the soil of each location . The studied soils were treated with the conditioner at three rates of application (0.001, 0,005and 0,01%) to three deferent depths (5,10and 20cm). |
