Abstract The Carboniferous white sand and kaolin deposits of west central sinai occur to the east of abu zenima, between latitudes 28’ 25’ and 29’ 10; N, and longitudes 33’ 14 and 33’ 25’E.The deposits occur within the abu thora formation , which conists of a thick silisislastic sequence and is built-up of pinkish white sandstones intercalated with multi-coloured siltstones and mudstones. |
