Abstract
The present investigation dealt with the study of the effects of four extreme high and low tempereatures on the pupal mortality and certain biological aspects of the carpet beetles,attagenus fasciatus,an important economic pest of stored materials,it covered the foloowing points:1-Sensitivity of the pupal stage at different ages to extreme temperatures 2-Latent effect of pupal treatment at the LT50LEVEL ON CERTAIN BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES OF THE EMERGED ADULTS.3-Malformation of adults emerged from treated pupae.Following is a summary of the obtained results:(1)Senitivity of pupae to extreme temperature.(2)Latent effects of pupal treatments.(3)Adult malformation.
