Abstract
This retrospective study included one hundred and thirteen patients with supratentorial high grade astrocytoma presented at Clinical Oncology Department, Tanta University Hospital during period from January 2000 to January 2006.The medical sheets of all patient were reviewed including: history,clinical and neurological examination, routine laboratory tests,radiological investigation including CT or MRI Brain, radiation therapy and follow up .This study included 66 patients with anaplastic astrocytoma and 47 patients with glioblostoma multiforme according to WHO classification.The age of patients ranged from 18 to 69 years with mean age 43, 7 years and median age 42 years. Sixty two percent of patients were male.
