Abstract
The thesis consists of three chapters. Chapter I is the introduction, chapter II represents the experimental techniques and chapter III contains the results and their discussion. Chapter I: in this chapter, an introduction was given which deals with the following fields of interest : * costs of scaling and corrosion; types of scales; mechanism of scale formation; scale control and antiscalent mechanisms; electrochemical mechanism of corrosion and corrosion inhibition of corrosion inhibitions; literature review on scale investigation and inhibition; literature review on inhibition of steel corrosion by environmentally friendly substances.the aim of the work was also explained in this part
